About the Unit
The General Investigations Unit (GIU) handles all crimes that occur within the City of Opa-Locka. If you have any information of a crime that has occurred or will occur, no matter how insignificant you might think it is, please contact us by phone at (305) 681-1033 (then press 5) or email us.
Also remember all information given will be kept confidential and you can remain anonymous. If your information leads to an arrest of a crime you may be eligible for a reward by calling Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
