The City of Opa-locka will host its first-ever interactive Town Hall meeting on April 24, 2013 at 6:00 pm, offering residents an opportunity to attend and participate in person or via the web.
Residents can submit questions via email to firstname.lastname@example.org that will activate one hour prior to the Wednesday night meeting on the Opa-locka 2018 Strategic Plan.
“This is a new feature that makes city government more transparent,” said City Manager Kelvin L. Baker, Sr. “We are excited to bring ‘live’ government into the homes of Opa-locka residents.”
Residents can watch the live Town Hall Meeting online at www.opalocka.com/live and email questions about the 2018 Strategic Plan from anywhere with an internet connection and a personal computer.
